Staff shows artistic side
The new exhibit at the library features the diversity of talents of the library’s staff. The exhibit will run through June 14. A reception for the artists will be from 5-7 p.m. June 7, in conjunction with First Thursday Art Rush.
A dozen artists contributed to the exhibit. The exhibit includes a range of mediums including photography, sculpture, jewelry and paintings.

Dream Rocket Project
Work from the Dream Rocket Project is on display at the library through May 31. This international publice art project includes work by Meadowlark Elementary School students. People from around the world have contributed artwork to the project with the theme "Dare to Dream." In 2012, the artwork will be joined with the other pieces to wrap around a 365-foot Saturn V Moon Rocket replica at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala. Come see this inspiring work at the library!
