Current Needs

Media Shelver

  • Description: Shelve and straighten DVDs, CDs and games.
  • Date Needed: Any day of the week for 1 hour
  • Qualifications: Age 16 and older; ability to stand for the hour; ability to push a cart weighing 30 pounds; bend and stretch. Able to commit to 6 months of service.
  • Number of volunteers needed: Multiple

Youth Services Shelf Reader

  • Description: Makes sure books are in call number order, reshelves misplaced books, and straightens books on the shelves.
  • Date Needed: Any day(s) of the week for 2-4 hours
  • Qualifications: Age 16 and older; must be able to stand for a period of time; stretch and bend; must have prior knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system, or a willingness to learn.
