Oh, how I love to learn about technology.
Google Wallet, via Gmail is intriguing. This handy option allows you to send or receive money through your email. If you compose an email or open one in your inbox, you will notice in the bottom bar, a button with a cute little dollar sign.
This button allows you to send or receive money through Google Wallet.
To start giving money to your favorite people, compose a new message and type in the email address of the person you desire to give money to. Click the dollar sign and input a dollar amount. (If you are new to Google Wallet, you will set up your account first.) The money will attach to your email after you review the data.
If you are lucky enough to receive money from someone you simply open the email that arrives notifying you, and select claim money. Google will remind recipients to make the claim.
You can also use Google Wallet to request money. Simply address your email to whom you want money from and then hit the Google Wallet button and input the dollar amount. A notification will be sent to the person you want money from and they can respond as they see fit.
Google Wallet is available as an app or a physical card. Receive and send money easily on your smart device or use the card just like you do your other plastic!
