It’s 2016! I hope your eyes are well rested and your finger pads have the appropriate amount of traction for turning pages because the Reading Challenge is back.

Each marble represents 5 books a patron has pledged to read.
Last year, we issued our first Reading Challenge. We heard from several people who wanted us to bring it back for 2016. So we made three checklists — one for adults, one for teens and school-aged children and one for you to use with the preschoolers in your life. (Sidenote: Reading to children is amazing!)
We also want to know about your reading goals. How many books do you hope to read in 2016? Stop by the library and fill out a pledge card or head over to our homepage and enter your number in the form. We’ll be adding your pledge to a library display.
We would love to hear about how your reading year is going. Comment, share, tweet and talk.
