Our current library app is being retired, and we are transitioning to a library catalog shortcut that patrons can add directly to their mobile device’s home screen. No app download is required.
The library catalog shortcut provides one-tap access to our catalog, allowing patrons to search for materials, place holds, access their accounts, and scan their digital library cards.
To add the library catalog shortcut:
- Open your internet browser on your mobile device.
- Go to discover.salinapubliclibrary.org.
- Open your browser’s menu or share options.
- Select the option to add or install the website on your home screen.
- Tap the new library catalog shortcut anytime you want to access the library catalog.
Instructions may vary depending on your device and browser. Our staff are happy to assist patrons who need help setting up the shortcut. Visit the library or call us at 785-825-4624.
Watch this tutorial for instructions.
