Library on the Go
Information Tables
Library staff are available to set up at your event or organization and provide the following services:
- Library card sign-ups.
- Information about library services.
- Book checkouts.
- Short activities, such as trying out 3D pens or coloring bookmarks.
Presentations, Trainings, & Programs
Learn more about the library through our presentations on general services and events. We can adapt our offerings to fit your schedule and areas of interest. Library staff can also facilitate training sessions and programs at your location on various topics, including:
- How to use library resources, such as databases and digital checkouts.
- Professional development.
- Technology skills.
- Resources for educators.
- Book discussions.
- Storytimes.
More Outreach
If you need informational materials about library services, we are happy to deliver library program calendars, how-to guides, and flyers to your location.
If you are homebound or operate a childcare facility, you can sign up for book deliveries. Learn more on our Book Delivery page.
The library also maintains nine Free Little Libraries in Salina. To see a map of their locations, visit the Little Libraries page.
We work hard to serve a diverse range of populations, including providing reference-by-mail services to inmates in Kansas correctional facilities and programs at the Saline County Jail.
