This nationwide challenge for you and your child is an easy way to get them ready to learn and read by sharing books together and earning prizes along the way! Any child from birth to 5 years old can participate.

Print off a fun tracking sheet from this page for you and your little one to color in together, or stop by the library and pick one up. When you turn in your tracking sheet at the library, pick up a new sheet and sticker each time you finish 100 books.
Absolutely! If your child has a favorite book, feel free to count it every time you read it together.
Yes! Plus you and your child will have fun rhyming, singing, dancing and meeting other families!
1000 books may seem totally overwhelming, but we promise it’s not as hard as you think!
3 books a day for 1 year = 1,095 books
