Starting November 2025, the Salina Public Library will begin Re-Imagining our Youth Services space. Follow along here for the latest remodel updates and what to expect!

What to Expect

  • Some programs are temporarily relocating.
    Check the online calendar to see up-to-date information on where programs are being held.
  • Some rooms are temporarily unavailable for reservation.
    The Prescott Room and Technology Conference Room are not reservable at this time.
  • Youth and Teen materials are relocated to the main floor. 
    Youth and Teen materials can be found on the east side of the main floor, where adult media was previously located. Library staff are happy to assist you in finding materials, or let us do the searching for you by placing a hold.
  • Adult Media is located near adult fiction and nonfiction. 
    Library staff are happy to assist you in finding materials, or let us do the searching for you by placing a hold.
  • Construction Noise
    There may be an increase in noise during hours of operation.
  • Reduced Seating 
    There may be fewer available seating options as all collections will be temporarily relocated to the main floor.
