April 9, 2018 — Salina Public Library will host a Book Talk with Teens centered on Tom Connellan’s book “Inside the Magic Kingdom: Seven Keys to Disney’s Success.” The group will meet April 19, 26 and May 3 at 6 p.m. in the library’s Prescott Room.
Connellan’s book highlights Disney’s customer service practices. He interviewed past and present Disney employees and attended a Disney seminar in order to hone in on seven key lessons. The discussion group will be lead by K-State Research and Extension Agent Sarah Maass and will also include hands-on activities. Maass will help teens use Disney’s model to grow as leaders and prepare for college.
Book Talk is for teens 13 and older. Books will be provided. Registration is required by Friday, April 13. Call the library at (785) 825-4624 or visit the library’s online calendar at www.salinapubliclibrary.org.
