April 10, 2018 — Jenna Weaver’s exhibit of abstract ink drawings, “Ink Flows,” will be on display in Salina Public Library’s Gallery 708 April 14-May 18.
Jenna Weaver grew up in Smolan, Kan. Her line art consists of billowing lines that flow across the paper. Each piece is meticulously drawn by hand and is one of a kind. Weaver plays with the delicate balance between imaginative freedom and detailed control. Her inspiration comes from high contrast patterns and intricate ink art from people such as Lisandro Demarchi and Irina Vinnik.
Weaver’s work has been featured at a University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Visual and Performing Arts even and by Insider Art. She is a two-time Smoky Hill River Festival Fine Art Exhibitor. Learn more about the artist at www.jennaweaver.com.
Gallery 708 is in the library’s south entry and is open during regular library hours. For more information on this exhibit or the gallery, contact Lori Berezovsky, Information Services Outreach Librarian, at infoservices.lori@salpublib.org or (785) 825-4624, ext. 249.
