May 22, 2018 – “Nature’s Duality,” a photography exhibit by John P. Waterman (John E. Epic), will be on display in Salina Public Library’s Gallery 708 from May 25 to June 22. A reception for the artist will be from 4-5:30 p.m. June 1, in conjunction with Friday Night Live.
The exhibit will include photographs of nature. The images are then reflected on themselves.
“As the progression of technology advances we are losing our connection outside of virtual worlds, a union with nature that heals and teaches us,” Epic said. “With my showcase, I am attempting to mirror back to the voyeur how easily we can personify ourselves upon the plants, clouds and water that surround us.”
The public is welcome to view the exhibit during library hours — 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1-6 p.m. Sunday.
