Dec. 18, 2018 – Salina author Dhyana Markley will sign copies of her newest book, “Native Messages” on Dec. 22 from 2-4 p.m. at Salina Public Library.
In “Native Messages,” Markley writes about spiritual events she has experienced, and various techniques she teaches to clean and clear all bodies, physical and spiritual, before ceremony. She explores her truth and shares how she has accomplished some of her steps to enlightenment.
Markley was born and raised in Bennington. She has traveled the world as a professional singer and has worked at Universal Studios and Columbia Pictures.
Salina Public Library provides time and space for authors to sell and sign books. Amy Adams is the library’s assistant director. She is a native Salinan and received a B.A. in English from Bethel College in North Newton. Amy is a voracious reader, picking up anything from fantasy, graphic novels and pop fiction to classics and literary fiction. She loves “Dr. Who” and “Game of Thrones” and admits that she is a bit of a nerd. Her more homespun hobbies include cooking, failing as a gardener, writing, singing and laughing a lot with her husband, children and friends.
