Hello! It’s been a little bit since I have talked to you. I hope you have had a good summer. Did you get to go swimming or camping? Or did you get to go on a road trip to someplace new?
It has been really hot lately so I haven’t been able to go outside much.
Mama did take us back to the library since it was nice and cool inside. My sister read me a great book about dinosaurs while we were there. One of my favorites was the Hadrosaurus. Her favorite is the Dilophosaurus. Do you have a favorite dinosaur?
I saw a big board there too that has pictures of kids who have had 1000 books read to them by their families. That is so many! I don’t know if I can even count that high. Mama and my sister said we could start keeping track of the books they read to me and try to make it to 1000. That would be amazing!
I also got to meet new friends when we were there. Ms. Amanda was super nice and helped us find some books. Then we got to go upstairs and meet Ms. Kristi in the technology room. She was showing kids how to use these robot balls called Sphero Bolts.
They were really cool. The kids controlled them with tablets and made them roll all around the room. I had never seen something like that before.
It was a good day at the library and I can’t wait to go back. Don’t forget to keep reading. Talk to you soon, friends!
