
Adrienne is a Youth Service Clerk. She got her Nail Technician license at American Academy of Cosmetology in Manhattan, KS. She and her family moved to Salina in 2010, and after working in a salon for over a decade, she found her happy place among the children’s bookstacks. She loves gardening, sewing, playing Dungeons and Dragons with her husband and kids, and of course reading. Her favorite thing about her job is helping kiddos find an amazing book and seeing their smiling faces.

Alissa is the Information Services Associate at the Salina Public Library. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in History. Alissa enjoys baking, reading, playing games with friends, and hanging out with family, friends and her dog. One of her favorite things about the library is the collection of historical documents, photos, and artifacts in the Campbell Room.

Allyson is the Head of Circulation at Salina Public Library. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and Leadership with 8 years of teaching experience and over 10 years of management experience. Allyson grew up in Salina but lived on the East Coast for several years before moving back to Salina to be with family. In her free time, Allyson enjoys a variety of activities including trying new recipes,being a dog mom, finding conspiracy theories, watching true crime and listening to self-improvement e-audiobooks. Her favorite thing about SPL is that the library has something for everyone. The library is a place where you can have your education, entertainment, and some everyday life needs met for free. Allyson herself frequents the digital platform Libby to listen to e-audiobooks.

Allyson is the Head of Fundraising and Development at Salina Public Library. Originally from the neighboring community of Lindsborg, she now calls Salina home. After earning her B.A. in Business Administration with a marketing emphasis from Emporia State University she began her career in nonprofits. When she’s not at SPL, you can find Allyson wandering the aisles of local thrift and antique stores, caring for her houseplants, or exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two dogs.

Alyssa is an Information Services Assistant at Salina Public Library. Originally from California, she moved to Kansas on a wrestling scholarship and earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Central Christian College of Kansas. She later pursued a master’s in Homeland Security and Emergency Management and is currently working toward a Doctor of Science in Public Safety. Outside of the library, Alyssa works as the Deputy Director of Emergency Management for Saline County. She enjoys watching true crime documentaries and traveling. One of her favorite things about the library is the wide variety of events and programs that bring the community together.

Amanda Little is the Head of Youth Services at the Salina Public Library. She earned her teaching degree from Kansas Wesleyan University and a masters in English from Fort Hays State University. After 10 years as a theater, speech, and English teacher, she transitioned to the library full time. She enjoys spending time with her family, writing poetry, serving at her church, and crocheting. One of her favorite things about the library is how it brings our community together with programs for all ages and interests and access to books, media, and more.

Amy is the Assistant Director at Salina Public Library. She got her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Mass Communications from Bethel College and a Public Managers Certification from Kansas University. Her hobbies include spending time with family, reading and baking. Amy’s favorite thing about the library is the diversity of the library collection.

Ashley is a Librarian in the Information Services Department. After graduating with her bachelor's degree in English from University of Wyoming and a master's degree in library science from the Utah cohort of Emporia State University, she moved to Salina, Kansas with her husband after accepting her position at Salina Public Library. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading multiple books and spending time with her daughter. Her favorite thing at Salina Public Library is hosting the Books to New Worlds book discussion group that has a variety of fantasy and science fiction, including graphic novels.

Ashley works in the Processing Department as an Interlibrary Loan Assistant. She graduated with an Associate's degree in Graphic Design and has 8 years of experience in managerial customer service. When not at the library, she enjoys reading, crafting and watching tv series and movies. One of her favorite things about the library is the 708 Gallery which showcases a variety of art throughout the year.

Ben is the Information Services Programs Coordinator at the Salina Public Library. After graduating with his bachelor's degree in Theatre from Emporia State University, he moved to Salina to work at the library. In his free time, Ben enjoys caring for his many houseplants, reading everything he can get his hands on, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his partner. His favorite thing at SPL is the history preserved in the archives and the opportunities for research that they offer.

Connie Olson is a Youth Service Clerk at Salina Public Library. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in education, she completed a Masters Degree in Administration from Bradley University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, completing puzzles, and landscaping areas around her home. One of her favorite things about the library is to help young people find the special book they are looking for.

Danton is a part-time circulation clerk at Salina Public Library. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and History from K-State then went on to get his master’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English from FHSU. Danton has been with the Salina Public Library for 3 years. When not hard at work he enjoys bike riding, reading, photography and hiking. His favorite thing at SPL is interacting with the patrons.

Kandy works in the Circulation Department at Salina Public Library. She holds two bachelor's degrees in religion and education and three master's degrees in human services counseling with a cognate in Christian ministries, history, and professional writing - all from Liberty University. In her free time, she enjoys fiction and nonfiction writing, reading, researching her favorite historical, sociological, psychological, and theological topics, conducting Bible studies, and visiting her favorite historical sites and museums. Her favorite things at the library are books and writing events.

Katie is the Head of Marketing at Salina Public Library. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and certification in Professional Selling from Kansas State University, she moved to Salina. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, starting new home projects, and diving into a true crime podcast. One of her many favorite things about the library is the collection of vintage photos housed in the Campbell Room.

Liza is a circulation clerk at Salina Public Library. She graduated with a masters degree in Library Science and is passionate about encouraging a love of stories and reading in others. She enjoys spending time reading, playing video games, working on art projects, and learning new skills. One of her favorite things about the library (besides the books, of course!) is the sense of community it fosters.

Lori is a Librarian for the Information Services Department at Salina Public Library. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.A. and M.A. in art history and then got a second masters in library and information science from Emporia State University. She has 30 years of experience at Salina Public Library. In her free time, Lori enjoys traveling, gardening and knitting. Her favorite thing about the library is serving seniors through outreach.

Mark is the Head of Processing at Salina Public Library. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas, he worked in the mental health field before pursuing a career in library services, holding a variety of positions in circulation, technology, reference, and cataloging. Mark enjoys reading fiction and watching movies. One of his favorite things about the library are the variety of book discussion groups offered.

Moriah is a Clerk in the Youth Services Department. She is from Texas but moved to Salina to attend the Professional Pilot Program at Kansas State University - Salina. When she is not in class, flying, working, or studying, she likes to work on her indoor garden, cook, and dabble in a variety of crafts. One of her favorite parts of the Salina Public Library is the people.

Rebecca is a full-time circulation clerk at the Salina Public Library. She moved to Salina after graduating from Bethany with a bachelor's in English and Philosophy. Her hobbies outside of reading are gardening, hiking, video games, philosophy, music and various artistic dabblings. Her absolute favorite things at SPL are the Art Gallery 708 and the music CD collection.

Sarah is an information services assistant at the Salina Public Library. She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. Sarah also works as a 5th grade teacher when not working at the library. In her down time, Sarah enjoys being with her dogs, doing home projects, watching sports (Go Wildcats!), and learning new things. Her favorite thing about the library is the people, the patrons and her coworkers make it a great place to be at.
