Multiply your impact – Give during Match Madness 2024!
We are excited to announce our participation in Match Madness, Salina’s day-long giving extravaganza, on Thursday, March 21, 2024! On this day, your dollar — and your impact — will stretch even further when you donate to Salina Public Library’s endowed fund at the Greater Salina Community Foundation.
Gifts to our endowment are very important, long-term investments in the future of SPL, as they produce a steady, never-ending source of income that we can count on every year. That means your Match Madness donation will help us continue our work in the Salina community forever! Plus, all Match Madness gifts will be matched up to 50% from a $313,000 match pool with a cash grant that we can use for our current needs, like:
- Community Outreach – Increasing initiatives that allow SPL to directly engage with and serve diverse community groups.
- Digital Resources – Investing in digital platforms, materials, and databases to provide patrons with a range of information sources.
- Programs & Events – Expanding programs and community events that connect people to information, learning, and culture
Here’s how YOU can become a champion for Salina Public Library:
1. Donate Online
On March 21, go to www.MatchMadnessGSCF.org and donate anytime between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
2. Donate In-Person
Donations will be accepted in person from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Salina Fieldhouse, 140 N. 5th St. in Salina. Grab lunch or dinner at local food trucks from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. while dropping off your donation – it’s a win-win!
3. Donate by mail
Mail your donation to the Greater Salina Community Foundation, PO Box 2876, Salina, KS 67402-2876. All donations must be postmarked by March 21, 2024.
